New regulation affecting pharmacies

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) has published a new ruling which requires suppliers of Durable Medical Equipment, Prosthetics, Orthotics, and Supplies (DMEPOS) to obtain a surety bond in the amount of $50,000 by October 2, 2009.

All bonds and rates are subject to company approval.
